Becky Hopton

Head Coach of the Programme and Team coach of; Anacondas Coed (SmlCoed5), Pumas (Jr2)

Athletic Background: Gymnast age 4-11 (competed at a national standard). Cheerleader age 13- 25 (competed nationally and internationally including Allstar Worlds 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2017. Team England Member 2012, 2014 & 2015.

Coaching Back ground: Becky has over 15 years of coaching experience. Starting out as a volunteer recreational gymnastics coach at age 12 for fromeside gym club; then became a cheer coach for a minis team the following year for crusaders. She started up Black Panthers cheerleaders as an after-school club in her GCSE year at school & they placed top 3 at a local regional competition.

At university Becky was Team Captain and Head Coach of the university cheer programme Dynamites for two years and coached them to win university Nationals 2010-2011.

Becky graduated University in 2011 and achieved a first class honours degree in Sports Education.

Upon leaving university Becky took over her old Squad Crusaders (2011-2012) and after a season rebranded them to Predators.

During this time the squads have won several; Regional, National and Grand championship titles. Along with taking Anacondas to the Cheerleading World Championships to compete in April 2017 and 2019.
